A simple trip to the big box grocery store could be overwhelming and dissatisfying because of all the choices a person has to make. The talk gets into how there are too many choices in the free market that is typical of the American economy and many others. Kahneman is a Nobel prize winner in psychology and a best-selling author. Understanding how these types of happiness affect the brain and a person’s mood could help a person change their behavior. The talk is a little heavy on medical terminology and psychology jargon. Rebecca Saxe is a professor of neuroscience at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This part of the brain helps a person understand the thoughts, motivations and feelings of other people.
